PEDRR 2023, Pakistan’s first National Expo on Disaster Risk Reduction, was a landmark initiative led by the National Disaster Management Authority. The event brought together a wide spectrum of stakeholders, including government institutions, UN agencies, international partners, NGOs, and private sector organizations. It served as a national platform to present Pakistan’s progress in disaster resilience while encouraging collaboration, knowledge exchange, and alignment across sectors.
As part of this large-scale expo, iDotCool Events was commissioned to design and deliver the pavilion for the National Disaster Risk Management Fund. Positioned as one of the key installations within the exhibition, the pavilion was intended to represent NDRMF’s work across the country, highlighting its financial contributions, project impact, and operational reach in a way that was both informative and visually engaging.
The core challenge was to translate complex data and national-level initiatives into a format that could be easily understood by a diverse audience. The pavilion was therefore designed to combine structured storytelling with strong visual elements, ensuring that visitors could navigate information intuitively while gaining a clear understanding of NDRMF’s role in strengthening Pakistan’s disaster risk management framework.
Idotcool strategy for Brazos was multifaceted.
The NDRMF pavilion at PEDRR 2023 was conceived and delivered as a fully immersive brand environment, not merely a booth, but a statement. Our team engineered a bold structural arch bearing the NDRMF logo in full three-dimensional form, creating an iconic gateway that immediately established the pavilion’s presence on the expo floor.
Inside, every surface was purposefully designed to communicate impact. A large illuminated map of Pakistan with district-level annotations highlighting vulnerable regions prioritized under the National Disaster Management Plan served as the pavilion’s centerpiece, visually translating geographic reach into an instantly graspable story. Flanking the map were printed panels detailing NDRMF’s financial disbursements, partner network logos, project photo galleries, and SDG-aligned thematic cube displays that gave the space energy and color.
A branded reception counter displaying national and partner flags added a formal, diplomatic dimension to the space, while the overall layout guided visitors naturally through NDRMF’s narrative from mandate to milestones. Every graphic, every fixture, and every structural element was fabricated and installed by our team to the highest standard, delivering a pavilion that stood as one of the most visually compelling at the expo.
